Intensive Participation in the 13th National Aircraft, Aviation and Space Engineering Congress

Our students and academic staff from Eskişehir Osmangazi University participated in the "13th National Aircraft, Aviation and Space Engineering Congress", organized biennially by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), with a total of 10 papers and 2 posters.

The "13th National Aircraft, Aviation and Space Engineering Congress" organized by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) of TMMOB was held on May 9–10, 2025, at the Odunpazarı Municipality 100th Anniversary Cultural Center in Eskişehir.

From our academic staff, Prof. Dr. Melih Cemal KUŞHAN, Prof. Dr. Kürşad Melih GÜLEREN, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Işıl YAZAR, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyid Fehmi DİLTEMİZ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim GÜRGEN, Dr. Lecturer Zafer ÖZNALBANT, and Lecturer Turgay URLA served on the congress’s scientific committee. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Melih Cemal KUŞHAN was a member of the congress’s executive committee.

Prof. Dr. Melih Cemal KUŞHAN also chaired the 6th session held on the second day.

The Aviation and Space Technologies Application and Research Center (HUZTAM) of ESOGÜ was among the institutions supporting the congress.

 

The congress, which included eight sessions, one panel, and two poster presentations, was attended by 181 participants and covered the following topics:

  2. Session: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Applications and Commercial Use & Examination of Feasibility of Aviation Projects

  5. Session: Efforts to Improve Flight Safety
  6. Session: Digitalization and Industry 4.0 Applications in the Aerospace Sector & Studies on Sustainable Aviation and Carbon and Water Footprint
  7. Session: Studies Aimed at Increasing Flight Safety
  8. Session: Innovative Approaches in Aviation
  • Panel: The Importance and Future Role of Aerospace Clusters in the Sector
