Guide for Incoming Students
Through this guide prepared for our incoming students, you can learn about transportation to our university, accommodation options, and dining facilities.
TRANSPORTATION TO THE DEPARTMENT
From the Train Station
Upon arriving at Eskişehir Train Station, you can take tram line number 3, "SSK-OGÜ," from the Ulus or İsmet İnönü tram stops. After getting off at the last stop, walk approximately 100 meters to reach the university entrance.
From the Bus Terminal
From Eskişehir Bus Terminal, you can take tram line number 4, "OTOGAR-OGÜ," which terminates at our university.
Bus Routes to the University
Public buses passing through ESOGÜ Faculty of Medicine stop provide transportation to the university from various parts of the city.
DEPARTMENT LOCATION
Our department is located in the Büyükdere Meşelik Campus of ESOGÜ, specifically in the engineering buildings area (M1, M2, M3, M4). It is situated on the ground floor of M4 Building. The department is approximately 2 km from the Faculty of Medicine entrance gate. For students who prefer not to walk, we recommend using personal vehicles or the paid campus shuttle service (Ring Line) for transportation within the campus.

ACCOMMODATION
Students who are admitted to our department can apply for KYK dormitories. Additionally, there are many private dormitories and student apartments around the university.
For rental options, students can find 1+1, 2+1, and larger apartments in Büyükdere neighborhood and surrounding areas.
- Ömür Neighborhood (Southwest of campus) offers affordable rental options but is farther from the city center.
- Eti Street, Bağlar, and Üniversite Streets are closer to the city center, making them suitable for students who prefer living downtown.
- When choosing housing or dormitories, it is highly recommended to consider public transportation options.
DINING OPTIONS
The university has a Main Dining Hall and an additional cafeteria in the M3 Building.
- Students can pay for meals using student ID card balances, which can be topped up via kiosks or Ziraat Bank mobile banking and ATMs.
- As of September 22, 2021, meal prices were as follows: (Prices subject to change.)
In addition to the dining halls, the ESOGÜ Campus Downtown within the campus has various restaurants and fast-food outlets. These are located along the path from the dining hall towards the Faculty of Engineering.
- ATMs for Ziraat Bank, Akbank, and QNB Finansbank are also available in the same area.
- Off-campus dining options include local restaurants on Eti Street, Bağlar Street, Köprü Başı, and Odunpazarı, offering affordable meals for students.
